Slit scanning with Flash

I was moping around the Open Frameworks forum (as I’ve been playing around with it a bit), and found an example with slit scanning and webcams. Forward the video onto about a minute, he gets some fun stuff in there.

Anyways, I built a quick and dirty slit scanner in Actionscript, ported it to Onyx and started playing with video, some geometrics (and of course the webcam as well). The video below is some sample output of what the I recorded — The first part of is a slit-scanned video with a feedback or echo filter. Halfway in, I start mixing 3 of the same clip, but at different frame rates and different amount of slits. Towards the end, I apply a slit scan to the entire display, and it starts getting a bit crazy.
